This re-upholstered leather armchair is a prime example. Ok, I added the mouse for fun but under the mess was a proper old Beech frame with another 100 years of life in it. Each department is crewed by our incredibly talented staff who make everything you see posted here or on our site. Our woodshop don't just make chairs and sofas they make stunning hand made tables and other solid wood joinery. This table is typical of the simplicity of beautiful things. No fuss just a solid table made from single full length planks jointed together, it has a solid base and wonderful tapered legs. This one is 180cmx90cm and is made in solid Walnut. With a satin clear Lacquer finish. Each table is made to order in either Walnut, Utile, English Ash (my favorite) or Beech. We can finish in Lacquer or Oil. The Braveheart sofa. I am often asked why we have The Braveheart sofa. I am often asked why we have so many versions of what appears to be the same model.  Well it's all about what's under the fabric.  We do indeed have our hotel, classic,  trad and even natural builds.   All are different under the skin.  It's a bit like a car where you can have the basic model which is the same shell as the deluxe model but it may have a smaller engine and cheaper seats and no fairy lights.  Having said that I am proud of all our builds and I am confident that our 'Hotel' build will outlast anything on the high street.  This sofa is our Braveheart sofa, it's inspired by the classic British Howard style that remains the most popular style in the UK.  This one in our 'Hotel' build is an incredible sofa, yes we designed it for the Hotel industry but it's just as happy at home and it will put up with an army of kids jumping on it, you will not break it. It has a full Beech frame and heavy duty everything.  All the fillings are best in class and while we do use foams they are the top grade and meet the highest commercial fire regs.  All our sofas are designed to be recovered when the fabric wears out, which is good for the planet, saving you money and preventing another sofa from ending up in landfill. The sofa in the image is a proper 3 seater sofa just over 2mts wide, we base a seat width on 600mm,  some so-called  3 seater sofas have as little as 425mm per seat.   The normal retail price for this sofa is £2700inc/vat plus 14 meters of fabric.  For the month of Feb we are offering the first 10 customers who place an order a massive 20% discount on the build.  The orders taken this month will be batch built by us in Britain in March ready for delivery in April.  You can even come to the factory and see your sofa being made.
